The first decision a patient traveling to Korea for a skin procedure has to make is not which treatment to choose. It is which door to walk through: a medical tourism agency or a direct booking with the clinic itself. That choice quietly decides everything downstream, including what language the consultation happens in and how the fee is structured.

What a Commission Structure Means for the Patient

There is no intermediary fee sitting between what you pay and what the clinic actually does for you. It does not automatically make direct booking cheaper in every case, since agencies can also negotiate package pricing across flights, stays, and treatment. But it does mean the fee structure is simpler and the incentive on the clinic's side is not shared with a third party. At our Gangnam location, we keep Japanese, Chinese, and English-speaking staff on site specifically so that the language support an agency would otherwise provide gets handled in-house.

Because the treatment rooms and the guest rooms share the same structure, a patient staying at the hotel can go from the procedure room back to their room without stepping outside or being seen in transit. UHC hotel guests can choose one complimentary benefit: a 30-minute oxygen chamber session or a vitamin IV drip. If both are used, the vitamin IV drip costs KRW 55,000.
