A Gangnam clinic director explains what to look at beyond interior design when judging a clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station: room layout, patient flow, hygiene standards, parking, language support, and where recovery happens after treatment.
If you are comparing skin clinics near Sinnonhyeon Station on facility quality, look past how polished the interior looks and check the treatment room layout, how patients move through the space, and what hygiene standards are actually followed. At our Gangnam location, treatments take place in private rooms inside the WD Building at 13 Teheran-ro 8-gil, on the second and third floors of the UH FLAT SIGNATURE Gangnam hotel.
I'm Kim Yeonjin, director of UH CELL Clinic's Gangnam location. If you're looking for a clean, well-organized clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station, let me walk you through exactly how our space is set up so you can judge it for yourself.
How Do You Actually Verify Cleanliness?
A tidy waiting room is only part of the picture. What matters more is the management system behind it. According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and the Korean Society for Healthcare-associated Infection Control and Prevention, the 2017 Standard Precautions for Healthcare-associated Infection Control treat environmental management and medical-device management as separate, defined items within infection prevention, not as a single general cleanliness standard. The KDCA has also published a separate infection-control practice guide aimed specifically at clinic staff.
That's why I always encourage patients to ask, during their consultation, not just about the mood of the waiting area but how the treatment spaces are divided and how instruments and disposable supplies are actually handled.
Our Gangnam Location and Patient Flow
Location: 13 Teheran-ro 8-gil, WD Building, 2nd and 3rd floors. We operate as an on-site facility inside UH FLAT SIGNATURE Gangnam, a UHC group hotel. Coming from Sinnonhyeon Station, walk down Gangnam-daero toward Gangnam Station.
Treatment space: Treatments are carried out in private rooms.
Parking: Three hours of free parking are available in the building. If the lot is full, or if you're driving an EV, a large vehicle, or an SUV, you'll need to use a nearby parking facility instead.
Language support: We keep Japanese, Chinese, and English-speaking interpreters on staff.
Where Do You Recover After a Treatment?
Guests staying at UHC group hotels can choose one of two recovery options at no charge: a 30-minute oxygen chamber session or a vitamin IV drip. If a guest wants both, the vitamin IV drip is charged at 55,000 KRW. Because recovery happens inside the same building where guests are already staying, the trip between treatment and rest is shorter, which matters most for anyone working with a tight travel schedule.
How long does it take to walk from Sinnonhyeon Station?
It depends on which exit you start from, so I can't give one single number. The reference distance we use is about 353 meters from Gangnam Station Exit 1.
Can I be treated here if I'm not staying at the hotel?
Yes. Consultations and treatments are available whether or not you're staying at the hotel. The free choice between the oxygen chamber and the vitamin IV drip is reserved specifically for guests staying at UHC group hotels.
Is there another location besides Gangnam?
Yes. Our Seocho location is inside UH FLAT The Seocho at 30 Banpo-daero 16-gil. It's led by Dr. Kim Kyungsoo, who graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine and holds both Korean and Japanese medical licenses.
