Repeated ZeroSsok fat-dissolving injection treatment

The effectiveness of ZeroSsok, a fat-dissolving injection treatment, cannot be determined solely by the number of sessions completed. I first assess subcutaneous fat thickness, skin elasticity and laxity, and the patient’s response to previous treatments. Even when patients have completed the same number of sessions, differences in the injected volume, injection sites, and anatomical injection plane can affect both clinical outcomes and risks.

We evaluate tissue response before counting sessions

If another treatment is performed before the swelling from the first has resolved, the actual treatment response is difficult to assess. I plan the next session only after edema and tenderness have subsided and contour changes can be evaluated. When the response is limited, I reassess whether the cause is subcutaneous fat thickness, skin laxity, or an inappropriate target plane rather than immediately increasing the dose.

Some areas respond better, while others have clear limitations

Pinchable, localized subcutaneous fat provides a clearer treatment target. An abdomen dominated by visceral fat or an area with marked skin laxity has limited potential for improvement with injections alone. The submental area, where nerves and blood vessels lie nearby, requires more precise planning than many body areas. I determine treatment indications based on anatomy and fat distribution.

A large dose at once is not always more effective

Excessive volume or repeated injections into a small area can increase pain, swelling, bruising, inflammation, and the risk of contour irregularities. If induration or asymmetry remains from an earlier treatment, tissue recovery should be assessed first. Delaying the procedure or selecting another treatment may be the safer decision.

Treatment records and lifestyle affect long-term outcomes

I document the ingredients, volume, injection sites, and treatment response to guide the next session. Remaining fat cells can enlarge with weight gain, so diet and physical activity also matter. Known or suspected pregnancy, liver or kidney disease, bleeding risk, allergies, and medications must be disclosed.
