Your First Skin Treatment in Korea: Where to Start

For your first skin treatment in Korea, start with your travel schedule, language support, and where you will rest afterward. Plan time for recovery before choosing a procedure.

For your first skin treatment in Korea, I recommend starting with three questions rather than clinic rankings: Does your stay leave room for consultation, treatment, and recovery? Can you understand the assessment in your own language? Where will you rest afterward?

Your First Skin Treatment in Korea: Where to Start

Hello, I’m Dr. KIM YEONJIN, head doctor of UH CELL Clinic’s Gangnam branch. Planning your first treatment in Korea can feel overwhelming. I recommend deciding what to check first.

Start with your travel schedule

Leaving room in your schedule is not a guarantee that recovery will be complete before you leave.

Rather than choosing a procedure first and fitting your trip around it, I recommend starting the consultation with the time you have available, including room for recovery. Recovery varies from person to person, so please share your departure date during the consultation.

Make sure you can understand the assessment

At our clinic, we design treatment around an individual skin assessment rather than a fixed package. Understanding that assessment and the proposed treatment plan is an important starting point. Our Gangnam branch has interpretation staff who support Japanese, Chinese, and English.

Plan where you will rest afterward

Our Gangnam branch is on the second and third floors of UH FLAT SIGNATURE Gangnam, at 13 Teheran-ro 8-gil, WD Building. The clinic is inside a UHC hotel building, and treatment can take place in a private room.

Guests staying at UHC hotels may choose one complimentary benefit: a 30-minute oxygen chamber session or a vitamin IV infusion. If you choose both, the vitamin IV infusion costs KRW 55,000. This benefit applies to UHC hotel guests, not hotel guests generally.

I recommend bringing your travel dates and language needs into the discussion before settling on a procedure. Skin reactions and recovery times vary, so please consult the medical team for an individual assessment and treatment plan.
