I recommend choosing an anti-aging clinic in Gangnam by looking at how treatment is planned, the clinician’s documented background, and the logistics of treatment and recovery, rather than starting with a device name.

Hello, I’m Dr. Kim Yeonjin, the lead physician at UH CELL Clinic’s Gangnam branch. If Korean beauty programs have prompted you to consider treatment in Seoul, I’d like to explain what to look at beyond the treatments featured on screen.
Start with an assessment, not a preset package
Our clinic offers treatments including Ultherapy, Thermage, Sofwave, Potenza, and Skinvive. These names describe treatment options, but they do not tell you which approach fits your skin.
We plan treatment around an assessment of your individual skin condition rather than a standardized package. That assessment informs an individualized treatment plan. I recommend focusing on how the proposed plan relates to your concerns, not simply whether a particular device appears on the menu.
Understand the clinician’s documented background
A clinician’s education, training, and professional roles are worth understanding when you consider a clinic you have seen in beauty media.
As listed on our official medical team page, I graduated from Seoul National University’s graduate school and trained at Seoul National University Hospital. My listed professional roles include Allergan Korea Faculty Member and Potenza Key Doctor. These are specific education, training, and professional-role descriptions, not a claim of board certification in dermatology.
Consider the location of treatment and your hotel
Our Gangnam branch is located on the second and third floors of UH FLAT SIGNATURE Gangnam, a UHC hotel, at 13 Teheran-ro 8-gil, WD Building.
For guests staying at that hotel, the clinic and accommodation are in the same building. This is a practical detail to consider when planning movement between treatment and your room. It does not determine how quickly your skin will recover.
Treatments can take place in private rooms. Our Gangnam branch also has interpretation staff who support Japanese, Chinese, and English.
Check the eligibility and cost of the hotel guest benefit
Under our official promotion terms, UHC hotel guests may choose one complimentary option: a 30-minute oxygen chamber session or a vitamin IV drip.
If you choose to use both, the vitamin IV drip costs KRW 55,000. The benefit is for UHC hotel guests, not hotel guests generally, and it does not make both services complimentary.
Prepare your treatment history and schedule
Before your consultation, I recommend writing down:
- The types and dates of any previous lifting or injectable treatments.
- How much time you can allow for recovery after treatment.
- The areas that concern you most and the degree of change you are hoping for.
These details help frame the discussion around your skin and your schedule rather than a procedure name alone. Skin responses and recovery times vary from person to person, so an individual assessment is needed to discuss an appropriate treatment plan.
My recommendation is to bring your treatment history, priorities, and available recovery time to the consultation so you can discuss a plan suited to your circumstances.
